Dddddddaaaaaaayyyyyuuuuummmmm
Beautiful footage. The night dive looked magical!
How cold is that water? I froze my ass off in Galapagos.
Salute dive with many sea snake. Have u dive at ternate & halmahera?
İt's cool, but, it's also very dangerous to all animals and humans alike.
Wow, truly amazing. The image quality is also super crisp 👌
11:28 did you get your SMB back? 😅 saw it dropped
I´m been last mounth in Komodo, and for me, it was the best place that I dive until now.☺
Go get u some of that modern day gold!
They allow drones there?
May i know the dive operator
Which camera have you used?
Amazing video, great place and stunning corals! Im planning to go there next January so was really exciting to watch the video an think ill be there soon. Thank you very much for share it!
Great video. I went on a few shark dive trips in the past before the state of Florida banned it. I agree with you that to chum the water to catch and kill these great creatures will do more harm to the ecosystem than having people go on shark dives and interact with the sharks, we both leave alive. The law didn’t make sense to me. Eco-tourism generates a greater amount of money for the local economy and also preserves the natural resources this has been proven beneficial for everyone. If the Fl department of natural resources developed a sustainable harvest and shark fishing season, setting limits on the size it would have an impact on the shark population. I’m not against fishing, I actually enjoy it and have done it all my life. However destructive over development of the coast and the overfishing of certain species can lead to a collapse of species. Many states have set limits, quotas and restrictions on fishing. Where I live in northeast this management has allowed the striped bass population to come back. There are all limits on flounder, sea bass, tautog( black fish) and even blue fish, allowing the fish population to grow. We even have seen an increase in sharks as well which is due to the conservation efforts. Unfortunately the legacy of the movies such as jaws and the negative media coverage of sharks makes it hard for people to be sympathetic toward protecting them. Please don’t stop your post about sharks, it’s great to see them. Next time I’m down there I’ll be sure to check out the two charters you mentioned. I’d love to go on one of these trips. Thanks again for your post.

Could you please expound on what you mean by "experienced diver"? And in what regard you you say so? Is it mostly dealing with currents? My wife and I have around 100 divers each made up of shore, boat, night, deep(75-100) but are by no means matters of the craft. Going to get an advanced cert next month. Please explain. THX
Your video was captivating, providing an immersive experience that made me feel as though I was diving alongside you. Excellent work!
Another wonderful video. Thank you 💙
Absolutely magnificent! We really enjoyed your video. I could watch your underwater photography all day. Thank you so much for all the work that you put into your videos. Look forward to your next one 😊
Aren't those snakes super poisonous? I have seen some of them in Indo waters but that amount would have freaked me out I think. Great content by the way - well done! About the illusive hammerheads in Banda - we dived the same spot for a whole week - 3 times a day and we had one lonely hammerhead showing up on the last 10 minutes of the very last dive...
Thank you! 🙏🏽 the banded sea snakes are definitely super poisonous, but they are pretty docile if you don’t bother them, and importantly, have tiny mouths that can’t effectively bite you. Unless they get something like your ear, or webbing of your fingers, etc. Thats why I kind of freaked out when they were licking my toes 😂I love seeing hammerheads but they are like a bonus - the snakes and the reefs alone make Banda worth it imo. Maybe next time! Cheers 🤙🏽🙏🏽
awesome
Thank you! 🙏🏽 🤙🏽
Anything that gives more value to sharks while they are alive is great.
100%. Nothing more powerful than economic incentives 💙🦈
Indonesia was so breathtaking
It’s probably my favorite country 💙🇮🇩
Im getting pooped on this is the greatest day of my life😂😂😂
The highest poopoo honor
Wow.. Great video! What camera do you use?
Thank you! 🙏🏽 currently it’s the a7s3, r5 and mavic 3 classic 🤙🏽
I have no idea how I’ve missed this channel. Epic
Glad you found me! Cheers! 🙏🏽🤙🏽
Great cinematic video! Narration is done very well as well. Congratulations!
Thank you! 🙏🏽 You understand what goes into these things 😆 🤙🏽
Well done!
Thank you! 🙏🏽🤙🏽
Extremely well shot video. I am looking towards getting into Hobby underwater photography, would love to know what camera gear have you used for this trip? And any colour correcting techniques you might have used for post editing.
Thank you! 🙏🏽 I use a bunch of different set ups depending on the conditions / what I’m focusing on for a given dive. For this I was using an A7s3, r5 and mavic 3 classic. I’ll probably do an in-depth gear and technique series at some point since it’s often requested. Cheers! 🤙🏽🙏🏽
This video is extremely well done. WOW!! Hoping to dive Raja Ampat next year.
Thank you! 🙏🏽 you will love it. Impossible not to! Cheers 🤙🏽🙏🏽
Just got back from diving in Thailand and was reviewing the stuff on my Gopro when I came across your video and needless to say I have a ton of stuff to learn. You have some seriously mind blowing footage ! Please share gear tips n resources that helped you reach this level. Thank you
Awesome! Thank you! 🙏🏽 I started with a GoPro and my first videos were janky AF. It’s frequently requested so I’ll probably do a dedicated gear and technique series at some point. I do do in person video workshops - if you’re interested in that reach out via email. Cheers 🤙🏽
feeding bullsharks, no wonder why number of shark attacks skyrocketed in last years
Not sure that’s why but fair enough. Shark diving can be done safely / in a positive way. Not sure this that though. They do keep the reef and sharks safe from fishing with the agreements they have with the local villages that ‘own’ the reefs
@@DiveHard shark attack is only one of dozen things that can go wrong in deep waters. If you asked what is safer in terms of shark attacks - surfing or diving, then yeah, diving is much safer
@@vladislavgorshkov737 of course. I feel much safer underwater with a tank than I do bobbing around at the surface. Even though the risk of DCS, getting lost, etc is way higher. But shark attack is a terrifying concept
@@DiveHard DCS, getting lost, get attacked by shark, murena, dolphin, other big fish or poisonous creature, have heart attack (that is common underwater due to it's conditions like air compression , atmospheric pressure), get your eyes or ears damaged due to many various reason, or simply sink or run out of air - yeah I better surf
How do we get there?
On a boat! 😆
I'm surprised of how unaffected this reef looks despite world wide coral bleaching over the past decade. Hope it stays that way this is awesome to see.
I agree! There is a ton of flow in this region which helps keep things healthy. And some special ecosystem magic we don’t fully understand. Many places not so lucky. Currently the biggest risk to Raja corals is bad divers. Hope things stay the way they are now
This vid is seriously underrated
Thank you!🙏🏽 I try 🥲
So well done...really appreciate your insights. I am ready to go to Raja!!
Thank you! 🙏🏽 enjoy it!! 🤙🏽
What an amazing video showcasing fascinating details about the underwater world! Could you please share the type of equipment used for filming and the lighting setup underwater
Thank you! 🙏🏽 I’m currently using an a7s3, r5 and mavic 3 classic most of the time. I also use the osmo pocket 3 quite a bit these days. I’ll probably do an in-depth video on my set up since it’s a very common question. Cheers 🤙🏽
Unfortunately we did not find hammerheads in Banda in November 2023 - but saw the sea-snakes as well 😊 Thanks for the video!
Sounds like you had a similar trip! I always figured the hammerheads would be a bonus. I was super duper happy about the snakes 😄amazing coral reefs as well. Thanks for watching! 🤙🏽🙏🏽
Sure Squidward its really mad at mr krab😂
😂
Amazing post production. Keep it up! May I ask for the info of the live aboard?
Thank you! 🙏🏽 this boat was the Galapagos master. Great boat and crew, definitely recommend it. Cheers! 🤙🏽🙏🏽
Wunderbar! Danke! Thanks for sharing and the effort! I need to get back to Raja Ampat for sure.
Thank you for watching! 🙏🏽 glad you’ve already experienced it, once is not enough! Cheers 🤙🏽🙏🏽
which camera have you used?
I use an a73, r5 and mavic 3 classic. Cheers
Amazing video!! One of the best I've seen on YT. You got me looking up Raja Ampat liveaboards. What is the creature at the 13:44 mark? Keep up the good work and safe travels.
Thank you! 🙏🏽 glad this gave some inspiration! The creature at 13:44 is a giant clam - the biggest I’ve ever seen are in Raja. Raja is king! 🤙🏽🙏🏽
This is where the Qatari football team train.
I don’t know how that would be possible but lucky them! 🤙🏽🙏🏽
Beautiful Cinematography!
Thank you! 🤙🏽🙏🏽
The nature has uncountable faces.
Agreed! 🤙🏽🙏🏽
Btw, I found your channel while looking for information about Alor. Well done, beautiful images and super nice narrative. Congrats!
Thank you! 🙏🏽 Alor definitely has gnarly currents, more so than other locations. I would avoid it for now until you look forward to strong currents. Avoiding the several days after a full moon also generally results in less strong currents. Cheers and dive hard! 🤙🏽🙏🏽
Hi, thank you for the great video. I’ve been to Raja Ampat last December 2023 (x-mas) and we had a great time on the Blue Manta. I missed a lot because even with more than 50 dives experience I’m still afraid of down currents. Do you have a suggestion about how to cope with fear of currents?
Down currents are nerve racking for sure, and indo has a lot of them. Blue manta is a great boat and I’m sure you saw a lot of awesome stuff in Raja. 50 dives isn’t bad but still in beginner / intermediate range. I didn’t really get comfortable in all currents until 200+ dives. The only way to get comfortable with currents is to rack up more dives and get everything else super dialed in - equipment, buoyancy, etc. Then start diving in lateral currents and get comfortable with the idea of going with the flow. When currents start to feel really fun (which is how I feel now), the down currents aren’t as scary. Your awareness as a divers matters - noticing that there is a down current is part of that (which way are the fish swimming, what are happening to bubbles, etc.). I also carry a large SMB, nautilus lifelines, and an EPIRB which gives me a lot of comfort in the event I drift away or get separated in open ocean environments. I think the best advice I can give is to dive in currents in locations where drifts are predictable (e.g. Maldives etc) and learn to love them. I alway start playing around when I feel the whirlpool / down current. They can be serious, but comfort and experience is the key to navigating those situations
This looks incredible. Bravo on capturing it all so beautifully. Im about to do my open water certification here in Canada and watching your stuff is so inspiring!
Thank you! 🙏🏽 enjoy the open water certification and good luck on your scuba journey. Stick with it, it gets better as you get better. I’d recommend getting as much experience as you can close to home before venturing to Indonesia (at least 50-100 dives to get the most out of and enjoy it) 🤙🏽🙏🏽
Wonderful. Looking already forward to our next stay next January. Just divers heaven ❤
🙏🏽 sounds like you’ve been before - have an awesome return trip!
